Piper Bacskai

I graduated from Mount Mary College, WI in 2000 and became a licensed occupational therapist in 2001. I began my professional life in Utah, practicing in early intervention and applying the theory of sensory integration. Working with children and families in their home provided the framework for my practice. I then transitioned into outpatient pediatric and adult therapy but knew pediatrics was my passion. I moved to Wisconsin in 2004 and continued to work in early intervention and outpatient pediatric therapy. In 2005, I added Neonatal therapy to my practice. I have a solid background in early development for premature and term infants and in 2025, successfully completed the Capstone Certificate Program through the University of Wisconsin Madison for Infant, Early Childhood and Family Mental Health. I am excited to bring this scope of practice to you blended with my occupational therapy background and experience working with a trauma Informed lens.

Embrace Pediatric Occupational Therapy has been a long time goal for me. I love working with infants, children and the caregivers in the natural environment of the home. My goal is to empower the caregiver to attune and respond to their infant/child and help both thrive as they grow together.
